Twitter is the most destructive thing that has ever happened to American politics. We’ve spent centuries telling ourselves that politicians were spoiled teenagers in rich suits, but said politicians had handlers capable of stopping them from admitting it. Now the politicians are forced to speak for themselves and some of them are looking very, very silly for it.
